              in the shimmering

              sunlight of the orchard

           church parking lot
           all the cars
           socially distanced

   poet Anna Akhmatova...

And the road running easy and white,
In emerald thickets is lost to sight,
   I don't know where it will end. . .

The poplars give off a damp smell.
I notice it all as if it were new.
I say nothing, and am ready, as well,
Earth, to become, once again, you.

poet Rachael Ikins, Baldwinsville, New York...

        April Dusk

        A good-natured rudeness of geese
      Vanishes into the horizon,

   Perseverance lands
To search for life on the planet

     poet Dennis Rhodes, Naples, Florida...
Thought I had a heart attack.
    Turned out to be gas.
I look at it this way:
    death gave me a pass.

                        Years ago I got
divorced from reality.                               Still paying alimony.
