       The Poem ...

       is a little myth

       of man's capacity

       of making life

          The In-Between

Life is like an Oreo cookie,

           all those days and nights,

sweet and cream on the tongue

     Rorschach Test

In order to preserve our sanity

     we must daily ponder

     if our God actually creates

    tell me you love me

not out of habit or guilt

           Sunken Forest

        Slowly each tide returns

         to reclaim the sunken forest

         which it knows more intimately

than I ever could, as I stand here

on the changing sands, shingle and

lines of drift, immersed in my

         temporary nature of thought,

         above waves endless sound

         and horizon's eternal rim.

               closing the circle

               of my life

               diameter once

               vast as the horizon
