MEOWKU Photos & Photographs (from our beloved Brooklyn girl) PATRICIA CARRAGON

Noble assistant editor Frosty: "Mister Editor!  Our very bestest friend, 'that Brooklyn girl' Patricia Carragon, has a new collection of poetry and kitty photos, MEOWKU, soon to be released by Hoboken's POETS WEAR PRADA!"

from assistant editor Tama: "Over thirty pages of kitty photos/poetry, including this one!..."

    (for Tama)
    this goddess knows
             Kishigawa's good fortune
                    calico's blessings

"and! how true these two are..."

                        feline etiquette
                        humans must cater to cats
                        never vice versa

      the maneki-neko
               waves her calico paw
                       "meowzeltov"

and, there's this, noble assistant editor, kitties are dear to so many of us, and! they are too human in some of their actions- Ms. Patricia's poetry delves into all aspects of kitty existence, even some aspects it's hard for us to own...

          seeing cat
          her calm
before the storm                      outside the bedroom door
                                                   early morning meows
                                                   give her food or else

state assistant editors Frosty and Tama:
"Enough from you, Mister Editor- Patricia,
here's one of your fine kitty photos from MEOWKU!

                                      the singing bowl
